RICHARD A. MEIER, ATTORNEY

Attorney Richard A. Meier was born February 23, 1953, in Detroit, Michigan. He attended Michigan State University, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree, graduating with honors in 1975. He continued attending Michigan State as a graduate student, taking his Master’s Degree in Industrial and Labor Relations in 1977. From 1977 to 1981, Mr. Meier served as manager of the Boron Oil Company in Cleveland, Ohio. He attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School at Lansing, Michigan, graduating with his Juris Doctor degree in 1984.

Mr. Meier is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the American Bar Association, the American Arbitration Association and the Wayne/Oakland County Mediation Tribunal. He is also admitted to practice law before the Eastern and Western Michigan United States courts. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He is also a member of the Oakland County Bar Association and he has served on the Michigan Civil Rights Commission. He has also served as a Hearing Referee, and was named to the Michigan Courts Mediation Panels.
